Online workshops common questions

What is an online workshop?

Short online seminars, all you need is an internet connection and sound. Listen, learn and ask our experts.

I’m not a Storypark customer. Can I join?

Absolutely, they are available for existing customers and new friends.

I am in a different country/time zone how do I find out the start time for me?

Click here to view different time zones. Be aware that the zoom reminder email will state the time of the webinar in the time zone of the facilitator, so you will need to check this.

What if I can’t make it?

No worries, you can register for another session at a more convenient time. Or you can watch the on-demand recording available on this page. Please do not register if you can’t attend as the recording will only be sent out to participants.

Can I ask questions?

You sure can! These online workshops are for you so bring any questions to ask. You can type your questions into the chat box.

Can I invite other educators?

Certainly. It’s a great idea to ask some of your colleagues and friends to attend with you.

What do I need to participate?

A strong internet connection which you can check when you join the online workshop. You don’t require a camera or audio for this session.

Can I use a computer?

If you’re on your own you can listen through a headset, phone earpiece or directly through your computer. Check before the workshop that your computer has sound by playing a song or YouTube video. Make sure your sound is turned up.

Can I use an iPad or tablet?

You can go through your browser to attend the workshop, or download the zoom app beforehand.

How do I log in to participate?

Once you’ve registered you’ll be sent a reminder email one day before and again one hour before the start time. Simply click the link in the reminder email to join the webinar and it will take you directly to the session. It pays to do this 5 minutes beforehand to allow plenty of time to check your internet strength and sound settings. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you may have entered an incorrect email address or it is in your spam email folder. If you are unsure please register again. If it is a paid webinar please email pld@storypark.com
