Who we are

Sharon Carlson

Sharon Carlson, Head of Pedagogy

Sharon has a Bachelor of Teaching and was one of the first to be an accredited NetSafe provider. She has been in the education sector for over 20 years in a variety of roles from Head Teacher, ECE Lecturer, PLD provider and Regional facilitator for CORE Education for the NZ Ministry of Education ICT 3-year research project. She has been involved with Storypark since 2011.

Beth Clements

Beth Clements, Pedagogical Consultant - Brisbane, Australia

Beth holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and serves as a dedicated trainer and assessor for the Certificate III and Diploma levels. Her extensive experience also encompasses coaching and mentoring educators and managers, reflecting her commitment to fostering professional growth. Beth facilitates STEM workshops and her involvement in the Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) realm underscores her dedication to providing holistic support for children.

Amanda Higgins

Amanda Higgins, Pedagogical Consultant - Wellington, New Zealand

Amanda has a Masters in Education, and her thesis investigated communication between teachers and families using ePortfolios. She has 30 years’ experience teaching and leading in community based ECE services, and was one of the first centres trialling Storypark. Amanda’s interests include enquiry learning, using ICT to engage children in learning, and nature education. She is a co-author of the environmental kinship guide.

Nellie Hodda, Pedagogical Consultant - Sydney, Australia

Nellie was awarded the Macquarie University Award for Academic Excellence upon completion of her Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) degree. She has 10 years experience in a variety of early childhood settings in NSW and several years experience using Storypark within these settings. As a RIE® Associate, Nellie is an advocate for respectful practice with infants and toddlers in group care settings, and has a focus on relational pedagogy.

Hannah Collado

Hannah Collado, Pedagogical Consultant - Toronto, Canada

Hannah is based in Ontario and graduated in 2021 with her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (MPEd) from Western University. She has over 13 years of experience in the field and has most recently begun the adventure of teaching Educators in post-secondary. She is both a member and a dedicated advocate of communities supporting children and families with additional needs.

Athena Skliros

Athena Skliros, Pedagogical Consultant - Toronto, Canada

Athena has been involved in the Early Childhood Education sector for the last 20+ years as an educator, family support worker, instructor and professional learning and development trainer. She now specialises in pedagogy, training and curriculum development, and supporting educators, services and organisations in online documentation and family engagement.

Marie-Eve Bouffard

Marie-Eve Bouffard, Pedagogical Consultants Administrator - Wellington, New Zealand

Marie-Eve is originally from Montreal and has a Bachelor of Communication. She now lives in New Zealand, where she has been working as an educator. Her role at Storypark allows her to combine her two passions: communication and children. As Storypark enters the French Canadian market, Marie-Eve has been working on the translation of the product and has been providing training for the educators.
